Fernandez Says Argentina Committed to Paying Its Debt (Update1)

March 9 (Bloomberg) -- Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner said she has shown her commitment to paying the country's debt and urged congress to demonstrate its willingness to support her efforts.
"Argentina has to show that it will pay its debt, this president has given proofs that this is going to happen," Fernandez said during a speech at a meeting with union leaders in Buenos Aires.
