Randazzo announces primary elections for August 14, 2011

Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo announced in a press conference that primary elections are to be held on August 14, 2011, after President Cristina Fern ndez de Kirchner signed four decrees related to the Electoral Reform Law, including one regulating political parties' ways of financing.

"It's a primary election that will be open, simultaneous, and compulsory; it's not an internal election," Randazzo explained at Government House.
