International reserves reach new record, according to Central Bank

International reserves achieved a new record, as the total reached US$50.604 billion, according to the Central Bank.
"The accumulation of international reserves is a pillar of the Argentine macroeconomic model. These funds made it possible to maintain during seven years a competitive exchange policy that has stimulated growth, development of the domestic market, and employment," CB governor, Mercedes Marc del Pont, said as she highlighted the new record.
