Objectives

The American Task Force Argentina Seeks:

• To persuade the United States government, specifically Members of Congress, the Treasury Department and State Department, to defend American stakeholders by demanding Argentina honor its outstanding debt obligations
  
  
• To convince the government of Argentina to return to the negotiating table with American creditors reaffirming their commitment to the standards of international financial markets
  
  
• To persuade international financial institutions, including the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Inter-American Development Bank, to restrict lending to Argentina until it honors its obligations to international creditors
